Universities are freaking out about ChatGPT. This text-generating AI system has been an intense topic of discussion within universities and especially their admissions departments. Already, many students are using ChatGPT to write their academic papers, and the fear is that they’ll also use this technology for their personal statements.

I’ve previously noted that using ChatGPT to produce an essay is a bad idea because the essays aren’t very good AND you could get caught and have your application permanently disqualified as a result. That said, ChatGPT *can* be a useful took when building a personal statement. In this video, we’ll demonstrate how to evaluate your CV and get ideas for improving your MBA application using OpenAI, a cutting-edge artificial intelligence system. OpenAI provides an ethical and objective approach to evaluating your CV and provides you with specific recommendations to strengthen your MBA application.

In this video, we’ll walk you through the process of analyzing your CV using OpenAI, offer tips for improvement, and demonstrate how to incorporate those changes into your application. We will also discuss some top tips for utilizing OpenAI in a way that adheres to moral principles and steers clear of ethical pitfalls that could get your application tossed. Begin by uploading your CV and asking the system to write an MBA personal statement. Add the prompt for a specific school if you have it. ***NOTE, YOU WILL NOT, CANNOT, and SHOULD NOT USE THIS AS YOUR ACTUAL PERSONAL STATEMENT!!!!*** Instead, read the personal statement to see if it generates any ideas, themes, or topics that you can develop further.

Ask follow-up questions like:

• Are there any consistent themes that you think are notable about my application?
• What are my personal, academic, or professional strengths?

Again, this is just additional information and an objective perspective that you can use to think up ideas. It’s a took, like using Wikipedia as the first step to understanding an essay topic. It’s a terrible idea to use OpenAI to *write* your essay, but if you use these steps to guide additional brainstorming sessions (a great idea is to do 15 minutes of free writing based on what the system tells you), outlining or storytelling, it can be an incredible tool!
